About us

Bill Lowe Ltd is respected for independent and realistic professional advice based on thirty three years of experience in local government and private practice.

Bill Lowe, principal of Bill Lowe Ltd, qualified as a Chartered Town Planner in 1981, and is a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

His experience was initially gained as a local government planning officer in Cheshire, Stoke on Trent and Somerset, dealing with the reclamation and regeneration of derelict urban sites, residential development for national and small scale builders, industrial and commercial proposals, rural development and agricultural issues, together with enforcement / lawful use cases resulting from breaches of planning control.

He was subsequently an associate director, specialising in planning, with a regional firm of rural land agents and, later, as an in-house consultant to a national Building Society concentrating on optimising the value of repossessed commercial assets. This has given a commercial edge to work which has built up the consultancy’s depth and scope which our listing of the range of work undertaken shows.
